Gunn High School is located in the southern end of Palo Alto, on the San Francisco peninsula. As seen in the map below, freeways 101 and 280 run roughly north-south and lie to the east and west of Gunn.

The closest exit from 101 is San Antonio Road.

The closest exits from 280 are Page Mill Road to the north and El Monte Avenue to the south.

North or South from 101:

Take San Antonio Road west (towards Los Altos). Take the first right onto Charleston Road. The road turns 90-degrees. Stay on it as it crosses the railroad tracks then El Camino, where it becomes Arastradero Rd. The school will be on the right in approximately a mile.

South from 280:

Take Page Mill Road east. At Foothill Expressway, turn right. At Arastradero Road, turn left. At the second light, turn left into the school.

North from 280:

Take El Monte Avenue east. At Foothill Expressway, turn left. At Arastradero Road, turn right. At the next light, turn left into the school.
