AROUND GUNN . . .
- Come to tonight’s football game vs. Lincoln High of San Francisco. Our new field turf field will be dedicated, with the frosh/soph game starting at 5 pm and varsity at 7:30.
- Open Gym for Boys Basketball starts tonight at 7:00-8:30 in the gym, and will continue through September and October, every Friday at 7:00.
- Students: when you eat at the amphitheatre, please clean up after yourselves!
- If you purchased an ASB member card or a Lightning Pass but did not get the correct card on Photo Day, come to the Student Activities Center and we will make you a replacement card. You will need to do this if you want to take advantage of your discount at sports events, so hurry in today!
- JLS is looking for a few high school students to work in their Math Lab. If you have the interest and would like to earn some community service credit, please contact Ms. Stock at JLS.
- Gunn is holding another practice SAT on September 20. The fee is $10 per student and you can sign up in the Academic Center.
- Freshmen: represent the Class of 2012 by running for office! Election applications are due today by 3:30 pm and forms are in the Student Activities Center or can be downloaded from the Student Activities website. Elections will be held Sept. 10-12 in Science classes. Represent your class and run for office!
- Auditions for the Fall Play “The Visit” are next Tuesday and Wednesday at 3:20 – take a chance!
- Parking permits for carpool and single drivers living outside of Barron Park/Green Acres neighborhoods are now on sale for juniors and seniors only. Single permits for juniors and seniors regardless of how close you live to Gunn will go on sale next week. All permits cost $125, no matter what type.
